Danver Outdoor Kitchens has established itself at the forefront of high-end outdoor cabinetry, but that doesn’t mean the company isn’t still looking to expand and grow. Implementing More Styles and Finishes

One of the most prominent ways Danver hopes to work outward in the next ten years is through an expanded product line. This means a greater variety of both styles and finishes with their line of cabinetry.

This is a natural evolution for the company, as they started only with stainless steel fronts. As the company expanded in its initial stages and began working more with the design and architecture community, the demand increased for doors that didn’t look exclusively like stainless steel. They accommodated by starting to powder coat their doors. This still allowed the doors to be highly durable and resistant to weather (even in harsh beach climates), but it also allowed those doors to work in a wider variety of outdoor living spaces and coordinate with a greater number of decors and color schemes.

Even if Danver’s line does expand, though, it will move forward still holding to those original ideals of providing a high-quality, weather-resistant product that is also eminently attractive.

Continuing in the Same Field

Over the past decade or so, there has been a widespread change throughout the arena of outdoor living spaces. Especially after the recovery began from the 2008 recession, people have been increasingly interested in making their outdoor spaces truly look as sophisticated, high end, and beautiful as their indoor areas. However, those outdoor areas still needed to be durable enough to withstand the harshest weather elements.

That was why powder-coated stainless steel cabinets became such a popular choice. They offered the durability and longevity of stainless steel with a color scheme that didn’t make those cabinets look clinical or stark. They can even make the paint system replicate the look of different kinds of wood for those who want a natural wood look without the durability issues or upkeep associated with actual wood.

In the future, Danver will continue on this path to make more and more color options with an increasing number of finishes. As the options increase, Danver cabinets will be able to match and accommodate an ever-growing number of design styles and aesthetics, and they can find residence in more and more homes.

Designing for Convenience

One area where outdoor cabinetry is already rapidly expanding—and looks to continue doing so—is in additional outdoor kitchen features. Items such as beer or wine coolers, for example, are becoming increasingly common, and those additional kitchen conveniences will become more integral to outdoor spaces as the trend continues toward outdoor spaces that approximate indoor luxury.

This means cabinets that have to fit any manufacturer’s appliances, in much the same way indoor kitchen cabinets must. Also, as the size of outdoor kitchens inevitably increases, specialty cooking products will become more prevalent, and cabinets will have to be altered from a design standpoint to accommodate.
