This Columbia, Maryland home addition encompassed the construction of a screened porch, deck, and patio designed by Design Builders, Inc. It features low-maintenance materials exclusively.
The decking was provided by AZEK in its 'Brownstone and Sedona' trim while classic black Deckorators balusters support the shoreline white vinyl hand railings. Each railing is capped with an AZEK top cap that provides a flat surface for drinks and plates during larger gatherings.
The deck was designed with a curved radius front and is given access to a red brick patio landing via a 90 degree, two-tiered staircase. Deck and stair columns and beams were installed with vinyl trim for an extra clean look. Underneath the deck, Delaware River Jack stone was spread to prevent weeds from growing.
